The Stamina of Success

Today, I want to briefly talk about success. Everybody wants success and it is pursued sometime with much valour.

I have this Bible character whose success was built on how he rustle  with  people .There I will dwell my discussion on the point that  success cannot be  attained as a  lone ranger. David Jesse a  name  which many people will not like to call 1“An Chronicle 11:8b had the best with him. "...Joab repaired the rest of the city" and also in verse 10, that “these also are the chief of the mighty men  who  David had, who  strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom…”
These three man were of Joab, Eleazer and Jeshobean, these amongst the thirty captains  were  about to  conquer together  with  David  himself  their enemies.

Three principles will be discussed in the post:

  • Communal success
  • Timely success
  • Self portrayal

The chief of these three is the self. The best determination is that one which is given and taken by oneself. Making sure that one live his/her best is the strategy that takes one to the desired destination.

In all sense; this is saying one must Shun mediocrity in order to be listed among the best. I have this powerful quote that has helped me in all my endeavour; “knowing your responsibility and becoming responsive to it is a great deal.”

As human, one has a responsibility or the other to adhere to: you now therefore delve into action and bring such to a finish and by the time you identify your responsibility and you become proactive towards it, it will be done with ease.

But unrealistic enough it will be, whenever we try to be self sufficient, all-knowing and become a lone ranger that takes us to the next point.

Communal success alongside self portrayal of success takes one to the top of the hill to be seen by everyone. As the popular saying goes, “no one is an islander, of success, for ages, communal effort brings about rapid development of firstly individuals and collectively as a community.

All the same, it goes beyond finding yourself in the midst of people, or a community. The best in its entirety is being in the midst of people who are known for their best result.

“Make the friend of a fool and you’ will become foolish, but bring in the wise and success will follow you.
In the opening stage of this post, we highlighted the character of the day. David, we saw how he was able to succeed as a result of the company he Kept. So also if you want to be successful, you must be found in the midst of those who are known for their successes.

The third part which is the timely success otherwise known as the quick turn over, is the one people rush after. Being successful with the quick syndrome is good enough.

One thing that people do not under is that success has two facets, on one hand success has fulfillment and on the other hand, success that is built on the contemporaries. This type of success doesn’t last, it only came for as a passing wind which quickly goes away.

Let our faith be built on what can last for eternity and the period which we would live in the earth. It is on this ground that success cannot be equated with fulfillment. On a high note, it is better to be fulfilled than be successful without fulfillment.
We shall go extra-mile in discussing how these two phenomena- Success and Fulfillment have their separate different ends, keep tight and be expecting the next update.

Should you have any opinion, question, or comment, feel free to do so.
