The Power of Vision: Part One

Today, I want to share with you very briefly a post with the caption, the power of vision; part one.

The Webster's Universal Dictionary defines vision as the power of seeing or foresight and better still, a mental conception or imagination. "Imagination is more important than knowledge. knowledge is limited, imagination encircles the world." Bridget.

Helen Keller has this to say about vision, "the most pathetic person in the world is someone who has sight but has no vision." 

"A visionless life is a life of disaster" says a writer. It is a life of going to the stream with a large basket instead of a pitcher, even if the pitcher is smaller than the basket which is larger in size and practically would carry no water. 

Whenever you see a man who has vision, thumbs up! You have seen a man who is extraordinary in life.

Before we go further to talk about this subject in the subsequent parts, let us first of all consider the few among the hundred things vision can do for you. 

Let me remind you that "visionary living is a virtue and a product of pure motive."

Vision helps you get the following five pointers. 

Vision enables you to do what most people consider impossible.

Aiming high is very important. In fact, it is not a crime to be highly infested with lofty visions, ideas and expectation. To understand this better, Les Brown said, "shoot for the moon, even if you missed it, you will land among the stars". 

It sounds foolish and an act of lack of "common sense", though not common, to think about what is practically impossible, but the ideology you should have is that, nothing is impossible!

Everything is possible to a person who has vision. Now here what Frank Gains has to say, "only he who can see the invisible can do the impossible". The man of the spirit does the things of the spirit and so it is with a man of the flesh. 

With vision, ways can be created where there are no ways.
