What is the Difference Between Love and Lust?

The above Idoma adage lingers as I daily see how people suffer as a result of ignorance. Knowledge is Power!

In the article of today, we shall see the clear difference between lust and love and most importantly, why marriages fail.

As a matter of fact, this is what socialetherapy blog is bent on giving to the society.

Which of the following marriages often fail?
*Church Marriage
*Islamic Marriage
*Traditional Marriage
*Court Marriage

About two weeks ago, I posted a short article on Love, it explains what true love is all about. I'm seriously worried about how people confuse love with LUST. You see a man who burns with lust, and yet, he'll tell say to you, "I love you". Is that really LOVE? Hell NO!!!

Now, on the subject, "why marriages fail", in that article, I pointed out that nothing lasts forever except love-real love, when the cord that binds a marriage or friendship together is love, such is bound to enjoy all that it has to offer, but when it's built on what one or an eye can see, and it so happened that such a thing fails, there will be a crash!

What are those things that are momentary?
*Beauty
*Money
*Security
*Sex
*Companionship, etc.

When a relationship is built on any of the above or other ones you can think of, and it fails, fades or vanishes away, such a relationship will definitely crumble because the foundation which is not genuine has fallen.

What then is this real love and how can one get the genuine one?

Talking about real love, God is the perfect explanation of love! And those who use the 'kind' of His love never fail! He demonstrated this genuine love, and it cost Him disorder in His Kingdom, for the first time, "there was complete silence in Heaven". When real love is in play, 'self' is ignored! Pride dies down and its unconditional state is manifested. Isn't that what Jesus showed? He dared to open that book!

I wouldn't say that I love you because I know you have money or you're sexy, or because you can protect me from external forces .
Body
Security
Riches and the likes will fail, but real unconditional love will stay!

Now Ponder
Am I in LOVE or am in LUST?

Lust can be explained, but love is unfathomable.
Lust occurs as a result of what you can gain-of course, they are momentary, but you love because you love, you can't explain!
