My Discovery
I wish to open my discovery with a question! Ain't we Nigerians
anymore? As you may scroll through this note, I urge you to keep
pondering on the opening question-ain't we Nigerians anymore?
Every nation or country has some specific problems and challenges that
may erupt as a result of personal inclinations. Countries like Sierie
Leon, Liberia, Central African Republic and many others including
developed countries of the world... not leaving the ancient Rome
unmentioned, encountered one challenge or the other. Please,
understand my point of view, that all these countries had a problem in
one way or the other does not mean we should also have, but from the
look of things, here we're today, with a bigger problem, when you
consider the gravity and complexity of what we are facing, you'll
definitely agree with me that we're in a whole lot of MESS.
In order to further buttress my point, let us consider this high
point. The concept of problem solvent in Psychology.
For a problem to be solved, it must first be identified! Have we
identified our problem? As a matter of fact, we have a problem of
TRIBALISM and it is eating deep into our common sense of judgment! It
is turning out to make us fools of no reputation. If a Southerner
insults a Notherner, and an Easterner to the Middle-belt and all these
part and vice versa, how then are we still Nigerians we all claim to
be? Ain't we the biggest liars? Consider that!
In as much as we are many a people, with diversified culture, heritage
and religion, UNITY can thrive and still be enjoyed. We can still live
together, eat together, play and laugh together, Nigeria belongs to
all of us, and it is now up to us to protect each other; you watch my
back, I watch your back! That's protection! That love yields and
breeds UNITY!
Let us pray for Nigeria. Prayer is the only key to our FREEDOM from
all the mess we've entered. But as we pray, are the prayers heard and
answered? God heareth not SINNERS. Christians and Muslims alike are
the field marshals of all the problems we are having in this country,
I must be frank with you my dear reader about this issue! Yes, you and
I! We all claimed to be FAITHFULS, but the tenets of our religious
standing and basis cannot be proven!
Finally, we're praying for this nation, let us not therefore render
our prayers null and void by speaking evil of leaders and how the
nation is run!
Let us pray and
let God do the work.
If we must talk, then let's not pray.
Let us not pray and talk, that's contradiction!
