RE: Church As An Agent of Change: Connected to 'Be Creative, Be Innovative

As earlier promised, to bring to you a poem titled 'Light Fades to
Darkness'. Here it comes, this is in line with our focus coupled with
vigour that we're into making sure lives are lived the best.

We're going to be touching so many areas of which religion will
receive the greatest attention...
Someone sometimes ago said, "If we can have two persons who are honest
and sincere in a church, and we have over fifty (50) churches in
Otukpo Local Government Area metropolis, we'll then have 100 honest
people". Come to think of it, that we are having 2 converts every
month in every church, the land will become a better place to live in!

A friend attended a church sometimes ago (the name of the church
with-held) came and told his stories, in his own words he said, "the
got swags, I mean swag" but pathetically, he added, "I won't go back
there again!"

It can easily be deduced that, though as hungry and thirsty as people
may be, there is no satisfaction in these churches around, the church
is no longer an agent of change in the society, rather, it is where
the seed of evil germinates.

Despite proliferation of churches and
religious bodies, evil keeps growing,
doubling, trippling and is even
skyrocketing. Nowadays, you hardly find a
role model, everyone seems to be treading
the same path. But as for me, I've made up my mind to stand out tall
because God has
filled my perforated mind. What about you?

The poem
"Light Fades to Darkness"

In the twilight
Began the much valued
And this much valued
The price cannot be paid
Passionately it came
And soon it goes off
Down mega feet
Not to be seen again.

A man himself cannot
His wealth and worth measured
Rather those who live after him.

Man, life is too short
Make every titbit counts
Make every bit worth reckoning.

To wise, this is known
And to the imprudent, it is hidden.
